Celebrate Your Right To Read

Banned Books Week is an annual event, sponsored by the American Library Association, which brings awareness to censorship and restricted access to books in schools and public libraries. Shawsville Middle School will partcipate September 23-27, 2019 with displays, library lessons, and classroom activities. The purpose is to engage, empower, and encourage students to consider the issues concerning censorship.
